What Led Me To iGnite:
I was a nanny for a family of 4 children and met Kari Glandorf through the kids. Kari introduced me to Neissa and I just knew I had to be part of ignite! I gave the position a try and never turned back. Throughout my pregnancy and my son’s surgeries, iGnite has been SUCH a helpful and positive force in my life. I’m not sure what I’d do without this family!
Roots:
I was born in Brunswick, Maine and moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia at just 6 months old. I met my now husband in high school there and he joined the navy. The navy took us from Virginia to Saint Mary’s Georgia where we got married. 3 years later we uprooted and moved to San Diego where we hope to stay for a while!
When I'm Not Working I'm...
Living it up with my husband and my son, Zander, and our 3 dogs! You can usually find me outside in our backyard or at the beach!
Life-Changing Experience:
For me, was losing my grandma (I called her Nana) when I was 13 years old. It has most definitely shaped me into the person I am today.
My Favorite Thing To Do For Fun:
I love to paint and I’ve been dabbling in photography! But honestly, watching my son learn something new takes the icing on the cake!
Best Advice I've Been Given:
Always love yourself first.

Inspiration:
I’m most inspired by my son. He had 2 brain surgeries at 4 just months old and hasn’t let a single thing stop him from living the happiest life. No matter what obstacles he faces, he finds away to get through them.
