Gratitude.

I was born and raised in Southern California. Sports and fitness have always been apart of my life. I am grateful to my parents for setting such a wonderful example of healthy living and teaching me of the joy that comes with daily exercise. In fact, next year I will be following my mothers footsteps and will compete in a Triathlon for my 40th birthday, just as she did 35 years ago. My husband and I have three daughters and we live in San Diego.  We are weekend warriors and love exposing our daughters to new adventures. Our family loves to hike, camp, ski and explore together.

My iGnite Journey:

I am thankful to have found Ignite and am blessed to have Neissa in my life.  We have such an incredible group of women that attend our San Diego classes, they are always inspiring me to be a better mom, wife and friend.

Life Changing Experience:

My life-changing experience was marrying my husband. I am thankful to have a "partner in crime" to do life with. We work hard on our marriage and try never to take our relationship for granted. We both believe that a strong marriage is a work in progress and we try to focus on the blessings of our differences instead of the challenges they may bring.

My Favorite Quote:

"For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm, plans to give you hope and a future."(Jeremiah 29:11)

My Mantra is:

Choose Gratitude. I believe that our hearts' natural default is ingratitude and that it takes an act of discipline to practice gratitude. It is a choice I make everyday to look for the things in my life to be grateful for.

I'm Most Inspired By:

I'm most inspired by positive people who know who they are and are confident in their own skin.

The Best Advice I've Been Given:

The best advice I've been given is that the challenges we face in life can either make us weaker or stronger. It is our choice to decide how we respond. I believe that God has the power to use the hurts in our lives for good if we allow that to happen.

My favorite thing to do for fun:

My favorite thing is be outdoors. I love to hike and ski in the mountains and SUP at the beach. I enjoy all kinds of challenges and adventures!
