Chipotle Salsa Recipe


1 - 28oz can whole tomatoes (I like the HEB brand.)

1 - 7oz can chipotle peppers (San Marcos brand is my favorite.)

1 onion chopped

1/2 bunch of fresh cilantro with stems

1 tsp cumin

dash of salt and black pepper


Place heaviest items in blender first - onion, tomato, peppers - then cilantro and seasonings.

Blend until well-pureed.

Will last up to 2 weeks in fridge. I store the salsa in 8oz mason jars. I save some and always give some away.
