A Mother’s Day Donation Only Class, Benefiting the Helping Hand Home for Children

In contrast to the more dynamic Yang (muscular and skeletal) practice, Yin Yoga focuses on the practice of non-striving, staying in the sensation of a pose (while supported) and meditation. This practice restores one to optimal health by engaging in asana that support and strengthen the connective tissues of the body -- the joints, ligaments and bones. Sometimes referred to as "hug a bolster yoga" this practice focuses on longer held, supported postures.

Join Amy Younkman and Paula Harnish as they lead you in two-hours of quieting the mind and celebrating the gift of Motherhood in this all-levels workshop which is sure to inspire you. Come support the Helping Hand Home for Children, a local non-profit founded in 1893 offering residential services and therapeutic foster care for abandoned, abused and neglected children.

Our two-hour iGnite Yoga Workshops provide an opportunity for you to deepen your yoga practice and designed to take your practice to a new level. Amy Younkman and Paula Harnish create exciting and educational topics to keep your practice interesting, evolving and your body, mind and spirit connected and renewed.
