Alison is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics with over 10 years of experience in physical therapy and holds a Master of Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University. She began her career in Texas before relocating for the last 8 years to Southern California where she received her Pilates Instructor Certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI). As a proud Longhorn, she is excited to be back home in Austin with her husband and two young boys.
She feels strongly that a one-on-one approach when treating patients leads to better treatment and quality of care. She utilizes a combination of Pilates-based rehabilitation, manual therapy, and movement science to promote healthy movement and physical fitness so her clients may achieve their personal goals and have a healthy and more active lifestyle.
In addition to being a clinician, Alison has served in leadership roles as both Director and Assistant Director of Physical Therapy and has mentored student physical therapists as a Clinical Education Coordinator. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Texas Physical Therapy Association, and American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
