Power Pilates

Equipment: Yoga mat (bring your own or order ours), towel, water, resistance bands, udderball, and weights. Athletic shoes are needed.

Power Pilates is an invigorating workout that focuses on building strength, creating length and increasing flexibility. Each class will begin with a strong warm-up of a variety of lunges, squats, and functional movement exercises that will increase your heart rate. Through core toning exercises we will highlight unique way to strengthen the abdominal region. We'll place an emphasis on traditional Pilates exercises which target the development of long and lean muscles while correcting posture and building a healthy and tall spine. Very similar to a yoga practice, attention will be placed on synchronized movement while breathing.
