Cycling is one of the best ways to expand your fitness and adventure horizons. It’s a unique and liberating opportunity that allows us discover Austin and the outdoors in ways we’ve not before. With fun goals and energetic rides, we’ll embark on an exciting experiences together.
Rides are complimentary and will be scheduled on a week by week basis.

What You Need
Bike, helmet, water bottles for bike.
Cycling Rules
For your safety and enjoyment, please follow these rules when you come cycling with iGnite:
- If you are a beginner cyclist and would like to participate in our rides, for the safety and protection of you and all participants, a one-on-one cycling lesson is recommended.
- Wear an ANSI- or Snell-approved helmet. You cannot ride without a helmet.
- Bring a signed iGnite Liability Waiver.
- Your seat bag should contain the following: spare tube, tire levers, multi tool & CO2 (or frame pump). All of this is available at Freewheeling, Jack and Adams, Bicycle Sports Shop, Mellow Johnies and most all cycling shops in Austin.
- Bring full bottles of water and/or sports drink. Plan to drink AT LEAST a bottle per hour on the bike.
- Bring bars, energy gels, etc.
- Bring ID, cash for store stops, cell phone, sunscreen, sunglasses.
- It is your responsibility to make sure your bike is in proper working order before attending a training ride. Do not expect ride leaders and SAG drivers to have mechanical knowledge.
- Headphones, iPods, etc. are a safety issue and not allowed.
- Be SAFE, COMMUNICATE and HAVE FUN!

Cycling 101 course for absolute beginner road riders
Develop basic riding skills.
Five 1.5-hour private cycling sessions.

Cycling 201 course for beginner road riders
Hone riding skills, develop endurance and strength.
Five 2-hour private cycling sessions.

Note: The above services assume ownership of a road bike, equipped with clipless pedals and a computer with speed, heart rate, cadence, and interval capability. Rental of road bike may be arranged through Castle Hill Specialized Fitness for $30/lesson flat rate.
