Would you prefer live in a house made of straw or a house made of stone? Would you prefer to drive a Lexus or a Ford Escort?
Neither of these choices are wrong, however the house made of stone and the Lexus are going to perform better, last longer, and keep you safer. Having a healthy, functional, and optimally performing body is no different from purchasing a strong house and car. The first step is education. You must learn why and how a house made of stone and a Lexus is safer and more reliable, as well as how to maintain their strengths.
Having had the fortunate opportunity to listen to nationally reknown and highly respected fitness professionals as well as take from my own experiences, the same message is being conveyed: FOOD/DIET is the PRIMARY variable to improved muscle tone, increased weight loss, and enhanced overall health and fitness.
Study upon study shows overwhelming evidence that regardless of exercise regime, if the diet is not “controlled”, results are insignificant. What does this mean? If trying to lose two pounds or ten pounds or feel better, a healthy diet is paramount in order to achieve desired results.
I do not believe in diets. In fact, I believe in the opposite. I believe that chronic dieting destroys a healthy metabolism, making it much more difficult to lose only a few pounds. Contrary to what’s been taught, feeding your body often is essential.
During the food workshop, you will learn the importance of feeding your body often. Taste and receive information on healthy and convenient foods that can easily be used at home. Leave with a plan that will enable you to have optimal energy, well feed muscles, and a holistic body that will allow you to achieve your goals.
