Advocare

Shonna Tobias, Advocare Nutrition Counselor

Five years ago after delivering her first child, Shonna experienced the common exhaustion and stress of a first mom. It was then she began taking Advocare's vitamins and supplements. Not only did she notice her energy was back to normal, but she lost her baby weight and her post-baby hair was beginning to thicken again.

For myself I thought I was doing all of the right things by eating organic, low fat and exercising a lot. I thought I didn't needed a multi-vitamin, omegas, vitamins C, or Calcium because I was getting everything I needed from my diet. I was wrong. I learned that even if I ate "perfectly" every day I still needed the basic vitamins and even some supplements. In addition, not all vitamins are created equally and after researching Advocare there was substantial science and research behind their products, therefore I too began taking them.

The changes I experienced were similar. I no longer needed coffee to jump start my day, I had more energy, my finger nails were thicker and I was didn't experience my common and annual colds.

Five years later both families continue to take Advocare's vitamins and supplements. Consequently and as a result of Advocare high quality products both families stay healthy and energetic.

Shonna is an Advocare Nutrition Advisor and is committed to helping others live a healthy life.

Kathleen Tisdale Health

Kathleen Tisdale, Certified Holistic Health Counselor

Have you ever added exercise to your regime to not lose a single pound, Regular exercise is essential and great however often times when regularly exercising we reward ourselves with food eat more because our metabolisms are boosted (leaving us more hungry). Better yet have you ever gone on a diet, lost weight, to then gain it all back plus more. This is very common, especially among women. There are a number of variables that affect weight loss, allergies, health, and energy however along with exercise a predominant ingredient is a balanced, moderate and fresh "diet".

A healthy diet and exercise go hand and hand. For optimal health and results they work as a partnership, but often times one or the other is left out. As a result iGnite is partnering and recommends with Kathleen Tisdale.

Five years ago Kathleen discovered the healing and weight loss power of moderate, holistic, and healthy food and is now living pain free. Dr. Jeff Ulery, Whole Body Health

Regular exercise is essential. It helps in keeping us physically, mentally and emotionally healthy, happy, and youthful. Often times we assume to be doing all of the right things when in reality we could be overtraining or over-stressing our bodies in a number of exercise or non-exercise related ways. Our bodies are exactly like the cars we drive. They need regular oil changes and tune-ups too, with or without regular exercise, and before breaking down.

I became a patient of Dr. Ulery in 2009 because I was "broken down". I thought I was doing all of the right things by exercising, eating right, taking vitamins and living a "low stress" lifestyle. However, my body chronically hurt and I was having irregular menstrual cycles. After receiving glowing recommendations about Dr. Ulery for several years I decided I to finally see him. My first appointment was enlightening and encouraging. Upon Dr Ulery learning about me and my lifestyle, reviewing my chart and testing my muscular reactions he explained that my adrenal glands were secreting too much adrenaline due to my work/stress load (unrelated to exercise). In other words, I was in a constant state of "fight or flight" (as I've learned is very common for women and can cause depression, weight gain, a weak immune system and so much more). He suggested this was probably why my body hurt and my menstrual cycles were irregular. In addition, he explained that I might have a food allergy or two. Choosing to completely trust Dr. Ulery and let him be my guide and part of my healthy "team", I began seeing him regularly and was an obedient patient. Within two week I had a menstrual cycle and I was finally feeling like myself again. My body was not hurting like it had for the past year.

I now see Dr. Ulery on a semi-monthly basis and continue to use his practical wellness tools to help my body, mind and spirit remain healthy, sharp and vibrant. My experience with Dr. Ulery has proven that in order to stay well and free from injury we need the help and support of other encouraging and holistic doctors and mentors.
